Colds during Pregnancy - no thank you

Having been sick since last Tuesday, I have to say that having a cold while pregnant is doubly bad. The primary reason is because you can only take a very limited number of medicines. After just about coughing up a lung Saturday night, Tim finally made me call my OB on Sunday morning. The doctor prescribed me a Z-pack (antibiotics) and some cough syrup with codeine. I was really surprised they'd give me something with codeine, but I guess they really want to knock this stuff out of my chest. I'm still feeling fairly bad, but I hope the medicine is working!

I'm about to go crazy waiting for next Thursday to find out whether we can start saying "he" or "she" instead of "it" and "baby." We're going to have the "sex party" Thursday night, and I promise I'll try my best to post the gender as soon as I get home that evening! I'm just hoping and praying that baby cooperates and doesn't become camera shy!
