Okay, so maybe it's not the "Big Day," but we have set the date for our 20 week ultrasound, which will hopefully the reveal the sex of our little one! It will be Thursday, September 25th at 10 a.m. Our plan is to have the ultrasound technician write down the baby's gender on a card and put it in an envelope. Then we'll have a cookout Thursday night with friends and family where we'll do the honors of opening the envelope!! This way Tim and I get to share in the intimate moment of viewing our baby on the ultrasound monitor, but everyone (including us) will find out the gender at the same time!
Personally, I just want to find out the gender during the ultrasound, but Tim doesn't want to find out until delivery day (yeah right). The cookout is our attempt at a compromise in the matter.
For those of you who can't come to the cookout, I'll post the gender Friday, September 26th.
