Week 9 Update

Just wanted to check in now that I'm (about) at nine weeks. Things are still going well. I've been very fortunate not to have morning sickness, although some nausea and indigestion has been plaguing me. Overall, things are going great!

Tim and I have been continuing to work on the nursery. We installed a new sheetrock ceiling, recessed lighting, chair rail, and a closet. Below the chair rail is painted a rich, chocolate brown, and above the rail is cream. We are leaning towards incorporating earth tones and muted colors when we pick our bedding and furniture. Here is an example of some bedding we found at Ikea that we really like.

Ikea Hokus

As time goes on, we'll pick out more of our favorite things, and I'll post them here so that everyone can let us know what they think.

Our next ultrasound is Monday, so I'll definitely have an update (with pictures) on that day.

Your nursey sounds adorable. I did earth tones (browns and greens with some blue), too, and I love the way it turned out! Plus, you won't get sick of looking at it after a few months!
Isn't heartburn the worst??!! I carry Tums with me everywhere I go now! I really can't complain though, because that is the only bad symptom I have had.
I can't wait to find out what you are having. My bets are on a boy! Just wait until you feel him start moving-- it is the most amazing feeling in the world. Tucker kicked the doppler off yesterday when they were trying to get his heartbeat. I don't think he liked the cold gel!
I love reading your blogs! Thanks for sharing this wonderful time!
